Svante Technologies Inc., a leading provider of carbon capture and removal solutions, announced the appointment of Justine Fisher as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The company has been rapidly expanding since closing its $318 million Series E funding round in December 2022, nearly doubling its headcount and naming new Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Justine Fisher brings more than 20 years of corporate finance, capital raising, balance sheet management and investor communications experience in the natural resources and industrials sectors to the firm. She will oversee the company’s strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, accounting, treasury, tax and financial reporting functions, as well as being responsible for Svante’s People and Culture Group. She will act as a manager of Svante’s financial affairs with external stakeholders, including capital markets, institutional investors, lenders, regulators and auditors. This includes ensuring the adoption and implementation of new digital business technologies to create a connected financial organization that can provide real-time insights to inform key business decisions and drive shareholder value. Justine Fisher will lead efforts to ensure our workforce is qualified and motivated to pursue Svante’s corporate goals and purposes.
Since its founding in 2007, Svante has grown to employ nearly 300 professionals and has become a global leader in carbon capture and removal solutions. The company creates solid sorbent-based filters and machines that capture CO 2 , a harmful greenhouse gas, from industrial facilities in the hard-to-abate sectors. The company’s filters can also be used to remove CO 2 from the atmosphere using direct air capture (DAC).
