Enviva Inc., the world’s premier producer of sustainably sourced woody biomass announced that Glenn Nunziata has been named the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

Mr. Nunziata brings deep expertise in finance, strategy, accounting, treasury and risk management with over 20 years of extensive leadership experience and a proven track record of implementing holistic enterprise change and driving critical financial and process improvements in large organizations. Most recently, Mr. Nunziata served as Chief Financial Officer of Smithfield Foods Inc., an $18 billion company that owns and operates processing facilities across the United States and works with thousands of farmers and landowners each year to manage its diverse supply chain. Prior to joining the firm, he held various positions of increasing responsibility at Ernst & Young, most recently as Partner in Assurance Services.

Mr. Nunziata holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Accounting degree from James Madison University. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of StoneBridge School and is a member of the Advisory Board of the James Madison University School of Business.
