Convergent Energy and Power, a leading provider of energy storage solutions across North America, announced the appointment of Donald J. Jenkins as Chief Operating Officer. Jenkins will be responsible for scaling the business while maintaining and enhancing daily operations.

Jenkins entered the energy storage sector through various roles at Enel X (previously EnerNOC), a division of multinational power company, Enel. At Enel X, Jenkins held several senior management positions including Vice President of Global Operations, General Manager of Utility Bill Management, and Chief Data Scientist.

Jenkins began his career as an enlisted US Marine, supporting United States Marine Corps aviation operations in the United States and Japan. Jenkins earned a commission in the US Navy, where he served as a submarine warfare officer and certified naval nuclear engineer before retiring from active duty in 2007. Most recently, Jenkins served as the Chief Operating Officer for Mirah, a software company focused on enabling evidence-based practices in mental healthcare.
