Raft and Appian Announce Partnership to Address Indo-Pacific Readiness

Raft, a pioneering defense technology firm focused on autonomous data fusion and next-generation AI/ML for national security, announced a strategic partnership with Appian, a recognized leader in process orchestration. The collaboration is aimed at delivering a first-of-its-kind contested logistics Cloud solution to the tactical edge in the Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM)-a region central to today’s global strategic landscape.

By merging Raft’s real-time, edge-ready autonomous data capabilities with Appian’s secure, enterprise-level process automation platform, the partnership is addressing one of the Department of Defense’s most pressing challenges: enabling sustained operations for distributed forces across the expansive and strategically vital INDOPACOM theater.

Operating in a region characterized by rising geopolitical tensions and competition with China, the need for operational agility is more urgent than ever. Even minor data latency or logistical disruption can compromise mission readiness—underscoring the importance of integrated, high-speed, intelligent systems.

“Contested logistics in INDOPACOM is one of the hardest problems the military faces,” said Shubhi Mishra, founder and CEO of Raft. “This partnership brings together the best in data fusion and process automation to solve it-fast, at scale, and where it matters most.”

The joint solution unifies siloed supply chain and mission-critical operational data into a connected digital ecosystem. This enables defense personnel to make faster, better-informed decisions-from centralized command structures down to tactical field units.

“Warfighting demands don’t wait-and neither can logistics,” said Jason Adolf, Vice President, Global Public Sector, Appian. “By uniting the Appian Platform – connecting people, systems, and AI – with Raft’s real-time autonomous data fusion, we’re equipping INDOPACOM to respond faster and with greater confidence in the world’s most contested battlespace.”
