The Claro Group (“Claro”), a financial advisory and management consulting firm, has added Angela Izuel and Dr. Matthew Raiff to its growing group of industry experts.

Angela Izuel is a Director in Claro’s Los Angeles office and has over 20 years of experience quantifying damages for intellectual property, construction, government contracts, class action and general commercial litigation. Her engagements have been in a broad range of industries, including banking, entertainment, telecommunications, aerospace, manufacturing, technology, oil and gas and tourism. Ms. Izuel worked on litigation matters involving billion dollar fraud and embezzlement in the banking and professional services industries, copyright infringements of major music, television and movie properties, false advertising of consumer products, construction of large-scale transit projects, and false claim and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) allegations in the government sector.
Prior to joining Claro, Ms. Izuel was a Vice President at TM Financial Forensics, LLC, a Director at Navigant Consulting, Inc., and a Manager at Tucker Alan, Inc.

Dr. Matthew Raiff joined Claro as a Managing Director and is based out of the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office. A Ph.D. economist with over 20 years of experience in economic consulting and academia, Dr. Raiff’s consulting experience is diverse, with a special focus on matters related to Section 1 of the Sherman Antitrust Act, including pricing practices in the healthcare industry. His experience includes over a dozen of the largest cartel matters in the U.S. in the past 25 years such as vitamins, rubber chemicals, EPDM, PCP, linerboard, parcel tanker shipping, DRAM and LCDs. Dr. Raiff’s clients include top-tier law firms, Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. Before Claro, Dr. Raiff held leadership positions at multiple nationally recognized consultancies.
