UL Solutions, a global leader in applied safety science, announced that it has received the ” Autonomous Vehicle Training Platform of the Year. This awards program is run by AutoTech Breakthrough, a leading market intelligence organization that recognizes the best companies, technologies and products in today’s global automotive and transportation technology markets.
AutoTech Breakthrough noted UL Solutions’ work in helping the automotive industry understand, interpret and implement relevant requirements and standards to produce and bring safer autonomous vehicle technologies to market, including:
- ANSI/UL 4600, the standard for evaluating autonomous products, addresses safety principles and processes for evaluating fully autonomous products that do not require supervision by a human driver.
