Geekplus, awarded in three categories at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2023

Geekplus, the world leader in autonomous mobile robots, has been awarded for the fifth consecutive time in its short history with another Supply Chain Excellence Awards (SCEA). Geekplus received top awards in three different categories.

The Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Excellence Award recognizes projects that have positively impacted patient health. Geekplus won the award in partnership with Dr. Max Romania for optimizing delivery in pharmaceutical e-commerce and retail fulfillment to improve delivery efficiency and drive customer-centricity.

Sorin David , Director of Supply Chain for Dr. Max Romania , said: “This type of technology in our e-commerce operations gives us a more efficient response for our patients in Romania, even during periods of overload, when efficiency is expected. increase by 200 percent. Therefore, being recognized with the SCEA of Health and Pharmacy makes us proud of meeting the satisfaction of our customers, which is the most important thing for us.” David added that “we are working with Geekplus to replicate the success of this project in other Dr. Max warehouses in Europe with the wide range of Geekplus solutions.”

“Winning another consecutive SCEA is a very valuable recognition for our brand and shows satisfaction for the great work done together with our partners,” said Lit Fung, vice president and general manager of International Business at Geekplus. “ASDA and Dr. Max have trusted our Shelf-To-Person solution to improve their intralogistics operations in their warehouses. Our commitment is to deliver the quality they need to fulfill their commercial operations.”

For these projects, Asda and Dr. Max used the Geekplus Shelf-to-Person system, their flagship mobile robotics solution. This solution is simple, scalable and allows robots to be added or removed according to business fluctuations and facilitates warehouse relocation. This flexibility is a real advantage during peak season.

Now in its 26th year, the Supply Chain Excellence Awards continue to be the benchmark for supply chain best practice and attract entries from across the UK and Europe. The awards are recognized for their rigorous evaluation process; Entrants receive valuable feedback from award judges with more than 250 years of combined experience. The recognition given by this award supports SCEA’s goal of helping clients in their business operations towards the use of innovative AMR technology.
