DENSO Products and Services Americas, an affiliate of global mobility leader DENSO, announced a collaboration with AT&T Connected Solutions to accelerate the development of intelligent transportation systems (ITS). Together, the companies are delivering a customizable portfolio of services and AT&T-certified hardware and software designed to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability for both cities and the automotive industry.
Building the Foundation for Safer, Smarter Mobility
Modern ITS applications demand continuous vehicle connectivity and an end-to-end national delivery platform to ensure optimal safety for drivers and the public. Leveraging AT&T’s nationwide cellular network and its cloud-based Intelligent Transportation Platform, combined with 5.9 GHz C-V2X technology, the partnership supports both localized, safety-critical applications and large-scale deployment across U.S. roadways.
Central to this initiative is DENSO’s MobiQ V2X On-Board Unit, which integrates embedded cellular and 5.9 GHz modems. This hybrid communication system enables interoperability and supports the next generation of connected transportation solutions.
