Basta Technical Services (BTS) announces the JackRack cargo system, a patent-pending innovation that simplifies and automates cargo loading and unloading for pickup trucks. BTS expects to make JackRack™ available in the first quarter of 2023.
“I saw a need to create an easy way for truck owners to load and unload heavy cargo, which is especially challenging with taller truck beds,” said Samuel Basta, founder and CEO of Basta Technical Services, Inc. “Our state-of-the-art system replaces the fixed and difficult-to-reach overhead racks.”

The JackRack™ cargo system anchors in the space forward and aft the wheel wells and extends up to the top of the truck cab. JackRack™ fits most pickup trucks with models planned for both small and long beds. Minimal customization is required for installation. The JackRack™ articulated system lowers into the bed of the truck and then lifts to allow for easy loading and unloading of cargo up and over the top of the truck bed. In addition, a rail system makes it possible to load and unload by passing cargo over past the tailgate and into the truck.
The JackRack cargo system is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023 and will be available as an after-market product. Pricing for the rack system will start at $5,999.
