ATC, an industry-leading manufacturer of aluminum RVs and trailers, announced during a groundbreaking ceremony that it has procured a 35-acre lot on which an additional manufacturing plant will be built. The planned 221,000 square-foot facility, scheduled for completion in early 2023 and located on the eastside of Nappanee, Ind., will primarily be used for ATC’s RV product operations.
ATC’s current headquarters will relocate to the new facility upon completion, and the expansion will create an estimated 150-200 additional jobs. The new space will allow for increased production and inventory for RV units and parts, while also accommodating RV and trailer shipping logistics.
“Over the past 20 years in this community we have experienced tremendous growth,” said Robert Paden, CEO at ATC. “Investing in this facility allows us to continue hiring more talent and expand our capabilities and capacity to supply customers nationwide with efficiently produced, high-quality RVs and trailers.”
Operations at the new facility will follow ATC’s newest manufacturing strategy, which involves producing RVs and trailers with popular pre-set features based on historic customer data. This approach has streamlined ATC’s manufacturing processes with dedicated production lines that rapid-assemble RVs and trailers at an accelerated rate with great precision. Since the production shift in 2021, ATC has had a 33% decrease in warranty claims, a testament to increased consistency and product quality.
ATC’s current RV lines include the Game Changer and Game Changer PRO Series toy haulers, made with premium-quality aluminum construction. For information on current ATC products, visit ATC’s new website: www.atctrailers.com.
