Medisca and EUROAPI have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at expanding access to IPAs for compounding, creating differentiated access in North America and establishing a broader framework for international growth and collaboration in the field of peptides.
For over three decades, Medisca has built its business around the constantly evolving needs of compounding pharmaceutical technicians. This begins with the products it chooses to market, but extends far beyond, encompassing the manufacturers who produce them, the accompanying documentation and technical information, and the quality systems that ensure the delivery of these products to the customer.
The partnership with EUROAPI reinforces this approach. Under this new strategic partnership, Medisca becomes EUROAPI’s first strategic distribution partner, responsible for marketing its European-made APIs in the North American compounding market. This collaboration includes exclusive supply agreements for certain APIs and creates a framework for expanding the product range over time, penetrating new markets, and advancing new areas of pharmaceutical innovation.
For customers, the added value goes beyond simply adding new IPAs to the catalog. This partnership strengthens the link between manufacturing expertise and the needs of the compounding market, leveraging Medisca’s technical information, product documentation, and direct customer knowledge. This allows Medisca to respond more precisely to the current needs of compounders and to continue adapting its offering as those needs evolve.

“This partnership marks a significant milestone in Medisca’s growth,” said Peng Li, Chief Commercial Officer at Medisca. “EUROAPI brings deep technical and manufacturing expertise, with a particular focus on quality, green chemistry, and sustainability. These strengths align with the evolving needs of the compounding market as personalized medicine continues to expand in telehealth, wellness, and emerging patient care sectors. Together, we are expanding access to APIs, creating new opportunities in diverse markets, and advancing collaboration in the peptide field. We are proud to partner with EUROAPI and are confident in the long-term potential of what we can build together.”
At the heart of this partnership lies a shared ambition: to bridge the gap between pharmaceutical manufacturing expertise, technical rigor, and a robust quality foundation and the ever-evolving needs of the compounding industry. Medisca’s approach begins at the source, with the manufacturer, specifications, and technical documentation related to an API, and continues through the accompanying quality systems and controls all the way to the customer. As part of this partnership, EUROAPI will provide available technical and regulatory information on APIs, further strengthening the link between Medisca’s manufacturing expertise and quality infrastructure. EUROAPI’s focus on green chemistry and sustainable development reinforces Medisca’s commitment to responsible sourcing and broader social impact.
This relationship is also expected to grow. Medisca and EUROAPI intend to collaborate on customer initiatives, training, and commercial activities, while gradually adding new IPAs and evaluating opportunities in other markets.
Strengthening collaboration in the field of peptides
Peptides represent an important strategic area of collaboration for Medisca and EUROAPI. As Medisca continues to develop its global peptide strategy for compounding and personalized medicine, the two companies intend to explore opportunities combining Medisca’s market expertise with EUROAPI’s capabilities in the development and manufacturing of complex IPAs. This collaboration lays the necessary groundwork to advance their work in the peptide field as the market continues to evolve.
“Medisca’s extensive expertise in pharmaceutical compounding and its in-depth market knowledge make it a strategic partner of choice for EUROAPI,” said Frédéric Robert, Commercial Director at EUROAPI. “This relationship creates new opportunities to broaden access to our IPAs, expand our presence in the compounding market, and develop our collaboration in areas such as peptides. We see significant potential for long-term joint growth.”
