Radiant Logistics Acquires Whitacre Logistics’ Dallas Operations

Radiant Logistics, a leading provider of technology-enabled global transportation and value-added logistics solutions, announced the acquisition of the Dallas Operations of Whitacre Logistics Services, LLC through its wholly owned subsidiary, Radiant Road & Rail, Inc., effective October 1, 2026. Whitacre’s Dallas Operations operates as an intermodal and over-the-road brokerage serving companies across a range of industries including building materials, industrial manufacturing and packaging. The Company structured the transaction similar to its previous transactions, with a portion of the expected purchase price payable in subsequent periods based on the future performance of the acquired operations.

On a post-closing basis, the acquired operations will operate as part of Radiant Road & Rail under the continued leadership of Jeff Vielhaber who will also assume responsibility for agent network development at Radiant Road & Rail. Jeff will report to Chris Brach, SVP and General Manager of Radiant’s U.S. brokerage operations.

“Dallas represented an exciting expansion opportunity for us, and much of that operation is intermodal in nature, a space where Radiant has deep expertise,” said Gary Whitacre, owner of Whitacre. “This transaction allows us to put the Dallas business in the right hands while we stay focused on our core operations in the Ohio Valley. I’m grateful to Radiant for being a partner who understands and respects what we’ve built, and I’m confident our Dallas customers and employees will be well served under Jeff’s continued leadership.”

“Through years of dedicated service, our customers have always remained our top priority, and finding the right long-term partner for them was essential to me,” said Jeff Vielhaber. “Radiant’s technology platform and deep bench of intermodal experience make them an ideal fit to support the business we’ve built in Dallas. I’m excited to bring that same customer-first approach to a broader stage, both in continuing to grow our Dallas account base and in helping Radiant expand its agent network across the country.”

“We are proud to have the opportunity to partner with Gary Whitacre on the Dallas transaction and look forward to working with Jeff and the rest of the team,” remarked Radiant’s Founder and CEO, Bohn Crain. “We are keen to accelerate the growth of our bi-modal brokerage platform and this transaction represents a tremendous opportunity to support the acquired account base with our robust technology platform and an expanded service offering, including domestic and international forwarding, customs brokerage and a range of other value-added services.”
