Motorq and Subaru of America Partner to Bring Native Vehicle Telematics to Fleets for the First Time

Motorq, a leading Connected Vehicle Intelligence platform provider, and Subaru of America announced a partnership to deliver direct connected vehicle data to fleets. Beginning with model year 2027 vehicles, the integration will stream native Subaru telematics for fleet vehicles directly into Motorq’s platform to power insights and applications. The agreement marks the first time Subaru has made embedded vehicle data available directly to fleet operators in the United States, and expands Motorq’s integrated footprint to 13 global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and 25+ brands.

Historically, fleet operators accessed Subaru vehicle data via aftermarket hardware or consumer-focused software such as the MySubaru app. Physical devices add procurement and installation costs, are prone to failure or tampering, and require ongoing device management. The MySubaru app is best suited for individual owners. Direct software integration with Motorq resolves both limitations by delivering enterprise-grade data access across the entire fleet.

Under the partnership, Subaru’s Connected Services platform will stream vehicle telemetry directly to Motorq. Fleet administrators can manage driver consent centrally, streamlining the enrollment process. Motorq will ingest, unify, and normalize signals such as vehicle location, odometer readings, and verified diagnostic trouble codes directly from Subaru‘s embedded sensors. Motorq’s Fuse AI will then analyze these normalized signals to generate insights and recommendations, helping fleet managers resolve maintenance risks early and capture hidden cost savings.

“Fleet managers shouldn’t have to spend their days chasing hardware issues or digging through data to keep their operations running smoothly,” said Arun Rajagopalan, Co-Founder and CEO of Motorq. “Our partnership with Subaru of America bridges the gap between factory connectivity and fleet software, delivering highly accurate insights at a fraction of the cost of aftermarket devices. Integrating Subaru vehicle data directly into Fuse AI turns embedded vehicle signals into clear recommendations, helping fleet teams prevent breakdowns and reduce total cost of ownership.”

“Fleet operators rely on Subaru vehicles to get them through demanding work environments safely every single day,” said Tim Tagye, Vice President of Field and Distributor Operations at Subaru of America. “Our fleet customers wanted a simpler way to access vehicle data inside the platforms they already use. Partnering with Motorq gives operators direct, intelligent visibility into their fleet, helping every Subaru vehicle deliver greater value throughout its service life.”

Subaru’s Fleet Connectivity Program is available on telematics-enabled model year 2027 gas and hybrid vehicles. Prepaid connectivity can be added when ordering a vehicle.
