Advanced IMU solutions help maintain accurate positioning during extended GNSS outages across terrestrial, airborne, and Low Earth Orbit applications
Epson will showcase its latest precision Quartz MEMS inertial measurement units (IMUs) at ION GNSS+ 2026, taking place September 14–18 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida. Visitors can meet Epson’s sensing technology specialists at Booth #507 to discuss the role of high-performance inertial sensing in maintaining accurate navigation when Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals are weak, disrupted, or unavailable. The Epson booth will also feature an interactive demo, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the stability of the IMUs firsthand.
At the show, Epson will showcase how its precision Quartz MEMS IMUs can help bridge extended GNSS outages across demanding terrestrial, airborne, and Low Earth Orbit applications. By supplying accurate motion and orientation data independently of external satellite signals, inertial sensors can help navigation systems maintain continuity through tunnels, urban canyons, adverse weather, signal interference, and other GNSS-denied or degraded environments.
