Sibros, a worldwide leader in Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) management solutions, has announced its membership in the SOAFEE (Scalable Open Architecture for Embedded Edge) Special Interest Group, further demonstrating its dedication to open and cloud-native standards for the future of connected and software-defined vehicles. By becoming a member of this group, Sibros is now a part of a growing worldwide community of over 120 leaders in the automotive, semiconductor, cloud and software industries.
SOAFEE is an industry-led effort launched by Arm that aims to bring together automakers, semiconductor companies, cloud companies, and software companies to facilitate the development of software-defined vehicles with AI capabilities using cloud-native development methodologies and hardware-agnostic architectures. The effort is primarily aimed at addressing three of the most important challenges in the automotive industry related to SDVs: software portability across different hardware platforms, consistency between cloud and edge environments, and speeding up development and validation cycles.
The vision of SOAFEE’s cloud-native and hardware-agnostic SDV development is very much in line with Sibros’ Deep Connected Platform, which is a comprehensive SDV management platform that helps automotive OEMs and mobility manufacturers of all sizes improve their vehicles throughout their entire life cycle. Sibros will be able to use its experience in the connected vehicle and SDV space in the mobility sectors through its involvement in SOAFEE.

Sibros offers unique value to the SOAFEE ecosystem as one of the very few connected vehicle solutions with live production deployments across the entire range of mobility use cases, including passenger cars, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles, recreational vehicles, agricultural and construction equipment, and more. The Sibros solution offers full vehicle over-the-air software updates, real-time vehicle data logging, remote diagnostics with SOVD (Service-Oriented Vehicle Diagnostics), and AI-powered fleet analytics.
“Our mission at Sibros has always been to democratize SDV technology, enabling OEMs to focus on building mobility products that delight customers rather than wrestling with connectivity infrastructure. SOAFEE shares this commitment to lowering barriers and accelerating innovation through open collaboration. We look forward to contributing to standards that make software-defined vehicles accessible to the entire mobility ecosystem”, said Hemant Sikaria, CEO of Sibros.
As a member of SOAFEE, Sibros will actively contribute its expertise in bridging cloud-native software development with embedded vehicle systems and in-vehicle compute environments. The company’s hands-on experience supporting diverse vehicle architectures-from complex super cars, commercial vehicles and buses, to resource-constrained two-wheelers-offers practical insights to help ensure SOAFEE’s reference architecture effectively serves the full range of global mobility and transportation applications.
