PDW Unveils C100 Multi-Mission Payload Suite for Tactical Operations

PDW has announced that its C100 platform now supports a new suite of Multi-Mission Payloads (MMP) designed to enhance battlefield operations in contested environments. These payloads allow the C100 to operate without GPS, extend the reach of forward troops, and provide commanders with improved situational awareness for EM Spectrum Operations. The announcement follows a $20.9 million U.S. Army award to supply C100 UAS and MMPs under the Army’s ‘Transformation in Contact’ initiative. The MMP lineup integrates native software and partner hardware upgrades, including Communications Relay and MANET Extension, Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (APNT), and Spectrum Awareness (SIGINT), all while maintaining the C100’s tactical portability.

“The C100’s MMPs provide three specific capabilities identified as critical needs by the Army,” said PDW CEO and cofounder Ryan Gury. “Any military unit operating in contested environments would benefit from these capabilities and we are actively producing and ready to deliver on this need.” Silvus StreamCaster MANET for extended communication and high-bandwidth ISR missions, and PDW A-PNT Vision-Based Navigation for GPS-denied navigation. Together, these enhancements provide units with organic overwatch, extended operational reach, and robust situational intelligence, delivering critical advantages for military operations in GPS-denied or contested theaters.
