Wind River and Hyundai Mobis Partners on Software-Defined Vehicles

Wind River, an Aptiv company and global leader in intelligent edge software, announced the completion of Mobis Development Studio, an integrated software development environment for software-defined vehicles (SDVs), created in collaboration with Hyundai Mobis. This new platform combines Hyundai Mobis’ cloud-based vehicle development infrastructure with Wind River® Studio Developer, delivering a powerful foundation to drive the next generation of SDV innovation.

A Unified Development Environment for SDVs

Mobis Development Studio is a web-based, end-to-end development platform that simplifies and accelerates automotive software creation. Featuring an intuitive user interface designed for specific electronic control units (ECUs), high-speed build capabilities, and automated testing tools, the solution provides advanced software lifecycle management to help automakers improve software quality, shorten development cycles, and scale innovation.

By leveraging the strengths of Wind River Studio Developer, the platform incorporates collaboration tools, automation frameworks, and shift-left testing modules to validate software earlier in the lifecycle-reducing risk while improving efficiency.
