ASRC Federal Selected for $5 Billion IDIQ Contract Vehicle to Deliver Supply Chain Management and Procurement Support

ASRC Federal announced that its subsidiary, ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, has been selected as one of six companies to compete for task orders on a new Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Acquisition Advancement Contract (MAAC). This enables the company to offer expedited supply chain management, procurement and delivery services, additive manufacturing, obsolescence management and forecasting to the U.S. Naval Supply Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP) for nuclear Virginia-class submarines and active surface ships.

Awarded by the DLA Maritime Mechanicsburg, the contract has a ceiling value of $5 billion with a five-year base period followed by five one-year options. The work will include support services and sustainment solutions for 10 weapons systems at various stages of their lifecycles associated with Navy cruiser-destroyers, submarines, and unmanned and surface combatants. Leveraging proven solutions, ASRC Federal can now provide essential resources for the Navy’s latest class of nuclear-powered fast-attack submarines and active surface ships – increasing efficiency by reducing administrative lead times and improving responsiveness to the warfighter.

“Strengthening supply chain capacity is crucial to achieving the U.S. Navy’s goal of building VA-class nuclear submarines and supporting active service ships that bolster our Nation’s naval dominance,” said Chris Frye, president of ASRC Federal’s Supply Chain Management and Logistics operating group.
