Keysight Introduces an Enhanced Electromagnetic Interference Test Receiver with Real-Time, Gapless 1 GHz Bandwidth

Keysight Technologies, a global leader in test and measurement solutions, announced a significant upgrade to its PXE Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Receiver, now featuring real-time, gapless Time-Domain Scan (TDS) measurements up to 1 GHz bandwidth. This powerful enhancement enables engineers to perform scans from 30 MHz to 1 GHz in a single step-streamlining workflows, boosting test sensitivity, and accelerating the path to EMC compliance and product certification.

The upgraded PXE EMI Receiver addresses a growing pain point in modern electronics development: the time-intensive electromagnetic compliance (EMC) testing process. As product launch timelines tighten and designs become more complex, traditional EMI testing methods struggle to keep up. Keysight’s latest enhancement simplifies this process, reducing testing steps and enabling faster diagnostics of elusive or intermittent EMI issues.

Key Benefits of the New PXE EMI Receiver:

  • Unmatched Testing Speed: The upgraded 1 GHz real-time TDS bandwidth, paired with the N9048BSPU standalone stream processing unit, dramatically reduces test times and cuts troubleshooting from hours to just minutes.

  • Complete Signal Capture: The gapless measurement capability ensures no transient or low-level EMI signals are missed, providing engineers with the confidence of full-spectrum visibility.

  • Global Compliance: Fully conforms to CISPR 16-1-1:2019, helping teams meet evolving international regulatory standards.
