Elevating Safety Intelligence with AI

Operating heavy vehicles and machinery remains among the most hazardous professions. Over the last 10 years, fatal crash rates have surged by 49%, while insurance premiums have risen by 40%. Samsara’s new AI-powered capabilities aim to mitigate these risks and reward safe behavior with real-time insights and proactive tools.

“Coach USA is committed to being the safest transportation company in North America,” said Jason Louis, VP of Safety, Coach USA. “Through focused safety initiatives and our partnership with Samsara, we’ve achieved a 92% reduction in preventable incidents. The introduction of Samsara’s AI Multicam and Pedestrian Collision Warning will help us to continue promoting safer roads, move toward zero incidents, and remain a trusted partner for communities nationwide.”

“Getting drivers home safe is one of our primary goals at Samsara, a priority we share with every one of our more than 10,000 customers,” said Johan Land, SVP of Product and Engineering at Samsara. “Thanks to rapid advancements in AI technology, we’ve been able to build new products that are now empowering drivers to make better decisions on the road and equipping safety teams with the tools for faster, more effective feedback. AI is increasingly becoming a powerful ally in protecting drivers, and Samsara is at the forefront of this trend.”
