McLane Company, one of the nation’s largest supply chain services providers, has announced the expansion of its long-term partnership with Wawa, the renowned convenience retail and foodservice brand. The collaboration will now support Wawa’s aggressive growth into new markets across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast regions. To facilitate this expansion, McLane’s Bluegrass distribution center in Hebron, Kentucky, will serve as the logistics hub for new Wawa locations in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.
“We’re proud to have served as a dedicated partner alongside Wawa over the years,” said Vito Maurici, McLane’s chief customer experience officer. “With this expanded partnership, we remain committed to supporting Wawa’s growth as a leader in convenience retail and foodservice through our robust network and product offerings.”
Leveraging McLane’s extensive national distribution network and deep industry expertise, the partnership ensures Wawa can continue meeting customer expectations for fresh, high-quality, and innovative food offerings. The two companies have shared a successful 20+ year relationship, with McLane currently supplying over 1,100 Wawa stores through strategically located centers in Kentucky, Virginia, New Jersey, and Florida. McLane’s Fredericksburg, Virginia facility began servicing Wawa’s East Coast footprint in 2023, laying the groundwork for broader regional growth.
