Zone 5 Technologies announced that it has selected Scientific Systems and its Collaborative Weapon Autonomy software suite for integration onto its Enterprise Test Vehicle (ETV) prototypes. Zone 5 Technologies was one of two companies down-selected by the Defense Innovation Unit and the United States Air Force Armament Directorate to develop a new low-cost, producible precision guided aircraft-launched munition using commercial, off-the-shelf components. Scientific Systems is partnered with Zone 5 Technologies to develop ETV prototypes that operate in this Network Collaborative Autonomy environment.
Scientific Systems’ CWA software suite helps to coordinate multi-vehicle operations via decentralized mission execution and dramatically improving the lethality of collaborative weapon systems. The software allows weapons to adapt to changes in target prioritization in real-time and enable opportunities to optimize weapon employment playbooks.
