Everspin Technologies has announced its collaboration with Lattice Semiconductor to introduce high-reliability Magnetoresistive Random Access Memory solutions for Field Programmable Gate Arrays. This new integration, facilitated through the Lattice Radiant software suite, enables Everspin’s PERSYST MRAM to be used across all Lattice FPGA families, offering a more reliable and efficient alternative to traditional memory solutions.
MRAM is quickly becoming a preferred choice over NOR flash memory for FPGA configurations, especially in mission-critical sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications. Unlike flash memory, MRAM offers superior endurance, faster read/write speeds, and enhanced data retention, making it ideal for real-time sensor processing and avionics data logging.
