Pixelle Specialty Solutions announced the launch of ARMOR, its new brand of barrier paper solutions, featuring FlexArmor solutions , for seamless applications. coating, and SelectArmor, which features a coated surface that offers increased printing capabilities. The portfolio of barrier papers features a wide range of characteristics, from oxygen, aroma and mineral oil barriers to chocolate, OGR and moisture vapor barriers, among many others. Barriers can be applied singly or in layers to improve packaging performance.

FlexArmor and SelectArmor are PFAS and plastic free. Both product lines are available with FDA approval for direct and indirect food contact. Base weights range from 20 pounds (9 kilograms) to 150 pounds (68 kilograms), with single-sided (F1S) and double-sided (F2S) functional performance options. It is also available with the moisture fastening feature along with bleached and unbleached options.
