Markus Bruegmann, CEO of Rock Tech Lithium, comments: “We are very pleased to be recognized as one of the best performers on the TSX Venture Exchange. We have made great progress over the past twelve months in financially equipping Rock Tech. We have also made significant progress on the development of our Georgia Lake lithium project and the pre-construction of our converter in Guben, Brandenburg. Our team has done a great job.”

The 2022 TSX Venture 50 winners were selected based on year-over-year performance across three equally weighted criteria: growth in the market capitalization, share price appreciation and value traded for the year ended December 31, 2021.

On June 24, 2021, Rock Tech graduated to Tier 1 of the Exchange. The Exchange classifies issuers into different tiers based on standards, including historical financial performance, stage of development and financial resources of the issuer. Tier 1 is the Exchange’s premier tier and is reserved for the Exchange’s most advanced issuers with the most significant financial resources.

About Rock Tech Lithium Inc.
Rock Tech Lithium is a cleantech company with operations in Canada and Germany that aims to supply the automotive industry with high quality lithium hydroxide “made in Germany”. As early as 2024, the Company intends to commission Europe’s first lithium converter with a nameplate production capacity of 24,000 tonnes per year. This is equivalent to the volume needed to equip around 500,000 electric cars with lithium-ion batteries.

The Company has set itself the goal of creating the world’s first closed loop for lithium, thus closing the raw material gap on the road to clean mobility. Rock Tech owns the Georgia Lake Project in Ontario, Canada and, as early as 2030, around 50 percent of the raw materials used are expected to come from the recycling of batteries.
