Snowflake launched Snowflake Energy Solutions. This new offering combines governance tools, partner-built solutions, and key datasets. It aims to help power, utilities, and oil and gas companies create a trusted data foundation for AI. This solution connects data across IT, OT and IoT systems. This boosts resilience and speeds up the shift to a reliable, low-carbon energy future. Customers like ExxonMobil, PG&E, Siemens, and Sunrun use Snowflake for real-time insights and to handle market changes. A new deal with SAP helps energy companies combine financial, supply chain, and operational data. This improves grid operations and asset planning. The launch features over 30 partner-built solutions on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. These include CARTO’s spatial analytics, Itron’s advanced grid planning, and Siemens’ Industrial Edge integration for operational analytics and natural language interaction.

“Data is the control plane for the future of energy,” said Fred Cohagan, Global Head of Energy, Snowflake. “Whether it’s keeping the grid secure, protecting critical assets, or balancing supply and demand in volatile markets, energy companies need a trusted data foundation that can activate AI everywhere. Snowflake is helping the world’s energy leaders modernize how they manage data and harness AI to democratize insights so that anyone, not just data scientists, can act on intelligence in real time. This shift allows organizations to do more with less, optimize existing assets, and deliver stronger sustainability and shareholder outcomes.”
